NDK7のコンベンションレポートで私が書いたこと覚えてますか？そうです、NDK8にまた戻ってくるよって断定したんです。で再び戻って 来ました。これが今年最後のコンベンション、来年の４月までしばらくお休みです。ではそろそろ本題に入ります。 大阪発の飛行機は定刻通りサンフランシスコに 到着、ここでNDKのゲストでもある桜井さんと会いました。(デンバーまでは日本から直行便がないので何処かを経由しなければいけません。今回、桜井さんもサンフランシスコを 経由するとのことでしたので現地で落ち合うことにしてました。)デンバー行きの飛行機は40遅れで現地に到着。桜井さんを迎えに来ていたコンベンションスタッフの車に同乗させて もらって会場近くのホテルへと向かいました。ホテルに到着したのが16時前。開会式に間に合うように急いで着替えて(今回は紫亜ちゃんのトリコットメイド服)会場に向かったの ですが登録所には長い列が。そのあとマスカレードへの登録もあって結局、開会式に出席出来ませんでした。マスカレード登録後は会場内を散策。昨年出会ったリンゴさんやきみちゃん とも再会できました。金曜日の最後はカラオケコンテスト。で私が貰った番号は37番。待ち時間4時間。これには少し参ってしまいました。(私の歌の方は好評でちょっとした商品がでました。) 土曜日、前日のカラオケの影響で起きたのが11:30。今日の衣装は美紗。まずは午後4時前まで会場内でホームページ用の写真を撮影。そしてホテルに帰ってマスカレードの準備に入りました。 荷物を開けてみて初めて幾つかの作品が壊れていることに気付きました。(もう少し早く気付くべきでしたね。)急いで修理して会場へと向かいました。集合場所の前で桜井さんと再会。 今回、何も衣装を用意していなかった彼に湖太郎君の衣装を貸すことに。そしてマスカレードの説明会。ここでスタッフさんから持ち時間に制限があってスキットに必要な音楽を流せない ことが判明。何の為にわざわざ日本から大きな荷物を持って来たんだろうと思うと悲しくなりました。(TT) とりあえず簡単なスキットを作成して見ましたが結局、賞は取れませんでした。 幾つか不満も残る結果でしたが全体的には楽しめた今回の何デスカンでした。(日曜日はモーツァルトのオペラ、コシファントゥテを見るためにサンフランシスコに滞在。) 今年のコンベンション巡りはこれでお終りです。次回は来年4月のサクラコン(シアトル)の予定。

Do you remember what I wrote the message on my NDK7 convention report? Yes,I said that I would like to come back to join NDK8! And here I am! This would be my last convention this year. I have to work harder to pay my debits for travel,but anyway I had wonderful time there. Especially, I was so happy to meet cosplayers who saw last year.(Some of them surprised because I joined the convention again from Japan.) Now I had better tell what happened during my trip. Flight from Osaka arrived on time at San Francisco and I met Mr.Sakurai at domestic terminal. We found out we used same flight from SF to Denver. Flight to Denver dalayed 40 mins,so NDK staff who pick Mr.Sakurai to the convention needed to wait for a while.Friday,I got in with Shia's tricot maid costume. I joined their car to my hotel. I would like to attend opening ceremony but I had to stand in the line for registration,and masquerade.After that,I began to search some cosplayers who met last year, and I could find Ringo-san and Kimi-chan. (^^) I knew that Karaoke competition held in Friday evening,and I really would like to join. I got the number 37,and had to wait for more than 4 hours. I became so tired after that.(But I enjoyed Karaoke and I got a gift from staff.Yay!) Saturday is the main day of the convention. I got up quiet late at 11:40. I changed the costume of Misha.(This is for masquerade!) I stayed at the convention until 16:00 and back to hotel to prepare my stuff for masquerade. When I opened my luggage, I found out some piece of work needed to repair. So,I had quiet horrible time! At the front door of waiting room,I saw Mr. Sakurai, and gave my Kotarou-kun costume for rent.(This time,he didn't bring any costume with him.) That will be all right,because I couldn't find any Pita-ten cosplayers this year. He could be the companion for my convention report. At explanation of masquerade, I heard bad news which I couldn't use my music on the stage. I was very very sad. All my effort become useless. I should get other short skit for the stage. Uhmmm. If I could bring my first skit,I might get the prize. (It was too much fun to join the masquerade,but I wanted to have some award.) After the masquerade,I had photo shot with Mr.Sakurai and many other cosplayers. Time flied like an arrows.I left Denver at the early morning,and came back to San Francisco to see Mozart's "Cosi fan tutte" It was great work!That was the end of my trip. Next year, I will start my convention trip at Sakura Con in Seattle!
