昨年のサクラコンで次の衣装のことが話題になりました。結局、その時リンジーがやっていたラグナロクオンラインを マスカレードで演じることになりました。で問題のどのコンベンションに参加するかなのですが、短い日程でも参加できる西海岸のコンベンションと言うことで 決まったのがアニメロサンゼルスです。 で当日、身支度に時間が掛かって新大阪駅に着いたのが11時15分。息を整える時間もなくそのままひかり号に飛び乗ります。 この日は雪による遅れもなく名古屋に到着。友人とここで合流して車でセントレアへ向かいます。空港近郊の民間駐車場に車を預けて中部国際空港へ。私自身はここを 使うのは2度目なんですが友人は始めてとのこと。(地元なのにね。)チェックインしたのはいいんですが事前に座席指定していた所には座れずちょっとがっかりしました。 ラウンジは人で一杯。でも、まあ少しゆっくりしてから一路サンフランシスコへ向かいます。飛行機の中で爆睡する２人。気が付くとサンフランシスコに３０分早く到着。 ここで２時間待ってロサンゼルス行きに乗り換えます。でロサンゼルスでトラブル発生。荷物が出てきません。なんで？１時間ほど待ってようやく出てくるありさま。 ちょっとつらかったですね。でいつものように車を借りてコンベンション会場へと行くのはいいのですが、ここでまた問題発生。フリーウェイI-405が大渋滞。カーチェイス でもしたのでしょうか？仕方がないので迂回することにしました。この後、エンジンから炎を吐いてる事故車を数台見ました。会場には午後２時に到着。バッジを貰って 周辺を散策することに。参加者少ないなって実感しました。(土曜日はかなりいましたが) この日はアニメビデオコンテストをちょっとだけ見て床に就きました。 そして土曜日、コンベンションが一番盛り上がる日です。とりあえずネタの写真を撮るために着替えて野外撮影。そして午後２時からマスカレードの打ち合わせ。 そのあとショートコントの最終リハーサルをやって本番に臨みます。小さいコンベンションだとマスカレード参加者も一緒に他の参加者の出し物を見学できるのが いいですね。そして結果は衣装とスキット、両方で賞をゲット。友人は初受賞ってことで感激してました。あとカメラを壊してしまうおまけも付いちゃいました。泣。この日はそれでおしまい。 最終日は、午前中、他の参加者の写真を 取って(日曜が一番少ないのですが) 午後から歌劇蝶々夫人を見に行きました。演出が斬新過ぎた所がちょっとでしたがまあ楽しめたと思います。夕食はインド料理店で取ったのですが ここで友人がカレーを服にこぼしてしまいました。なんか去年もやったような気がします。 で月曜日に帰国の途に着いたにはいいのですがサンフランシスコ行きの飛行機が 遅れてしまって乗り継ぎ時間がかなりタイトになってしまいました。で帰国後、疲れがどっとでて風邪を引いてしまいました。でもまあ満足の行く旅行だったと思います。

Last year ,we were talking about next costume. At last,Lynzie who attended Masquerade with me at SakuraCon suggested we were making the costume from Ragnarok Online.(She was playing that game.)And also,we had to consider which convention we attend,finally we chose Anime Los Angeles 2 because of our short schedule. On 27th Jan,I was little bit late to arrive at Shin-Osaka station at 11:15 just 5mins before the bullet train would leave.There was no time to relax,and I met my friend at Nagoya Station.We drove to Chubu Centair Airport by his car.(I realized he was speed mania.)This was second time for me to use this airport and he was first time. (He lives near this airport,however he never used it before.)And our flight flied to Los Angeles via San Francisco. At Los Angeles,we had a problem for our luggage. We had to wait more than 60 mins to pick up.That was too bad. My friend was very upset for that.And also,we had a traffic jam to the way of convention.Free way I-405 was totally down for traffic accidents.We saw 3 cars burning on the freee way in same day.At 14:00,we arrived at Airtel hotel,and checked in.We changed our costumes and got badges. There were not so many attendants on Friday.We saw Anime Video Contest in evening.This is end of Friday. On Saturday,the main day of convention,we took some our photo in the morning,and join Pre-Masquerade judgement afternoon. We practiced some our skit before 17:00 and join the show.In a small convention,attendants of masquerade could see other attendants' performance. It's quite nice. Finally,we got prizes of craftmanship and performance.However I broke my camera.(It costed me more than USD100.00-) Crying!!(T-T) On Sunday,we went to see Puccini's Madame Butterfly at Music Center.Direction of opera was too modern,however other things were excellent. After that,we dined Indian Restaurant.My friend polluted his cloth again.(He did at Seattle.) On Monday,our flight to San Francisco was delayed for 45mins,therefore we had no time at San Francisco. And finally,I caught cold when I was in home.However this trip had too much fun.
